The eastern anatomy system refers to the complex configurations which are the human energy system. These include but are not nearly limited to the chakras & nadis. Bhanda, mudra and mantra are sophisticated yogic techniques to tap, connect, control, alter at will, and improve the functioning of this energy system through the 'vehicle' known as our physical body. In deep, concentrated and enlightened states of awareness the yogis could see clearly these systems and how to effect them to work optimally. Through the use of the body; they concluded that the physical body and energy body were reflections of each other. The energy body, however, has the distinct advantage of being unlimited and unencumbered by the laws of the physical reality. Therefore, it is the preferred method of yogis to focus on the energy body in order to realize the essence of who and what we really are.

Teaching Vinyasa Flow Yoga can be a creative and effective way to take your students on a transformational journey uniting mind, body and Spirit. As well as being physically challenging, this dynamic practice is an inspirational and effective way to open students to the beauty and potential of their own Spiritual purpose. In this special intensive geared towards both certified yoga teachers, or intermediate students with 3+ years of yoga experience and a solid understanding of the sun salutations, Seane will discuss the fundamental principals of Vinyasa Flow Yoga (linking movement with breath) and how to teach this popular form of yoga in a responsible, creative and heart-centered way. This workshop explores the three realms of consciousness - physical/mental, energetic/emotional andpsychic/ symbolic - and how to utilize these principles in your personal practice, as well as the classroom. Understanding these three ?'realms'' can ultimately enrich our practice, provide depth and awareness, and offer an uplifting and inspirational environment for healing and inner-investigation. Applying these tools to a classroom can help us to: teach asana more clearly and intelligently, maintain an organized and well-paced Vinyasa sequence, use Spiritual themes to facilitate an environment for insight, as well as, guide our students to reach beyond the body and into the heart through intention, reflection and prayer.
