The Art of
Indian Dance
with Prem Siri Kaur

Classical Indian dance technique is like a beautiful yoga in motion.  It is truly effective in awakening a relationship to the Divine through one's dancing.  The feet movements are said to benefit the whole body through the reflexology of the foot being stimulated as the feet stamp.  Indian dance itself is absolutely vast and consists of three main groups: classical, bollywood, and bhangra.  These three categories span technique from deeply disciplined movements and rhythms, to passionate and playful gesturing, and even the folk dancing of certain regions.  Indian dance captures the imagination, provides a fiercely effective workout, and restores hope to one's heart that such a dance can  provide so much joy!

Let nature’s medicine bring out the divine beauty in you.

Indian Dance: (Elements of Classical, Bhangra and Bollywood)
